AugmentReality.co.uk develop augmented reality applications for cellphones. By harnessing the data from your handsets’ compass and GPS, our applications figure out where you are and which direction you are looking. As this happens the video display on your handset is augmented with relevant points of interest (POI) in your immediate area. This happens in real-time.
The AR applications that we have developed can be downloaded via the Layar AR browser. Layar is available on Android handsets (available from Samsung, HTC, Motorola and many more) and the iPhone 3GS: simply download it (it’s free!) from the Android Marketplace or the iTunes App store. Our range of apps help people find their nearest restaurant, tube stations in London, book hotels, take a guide-less tour and many more.
